Peachtree City residents ready to vote in the runoff election for the mayor and two city council seats can get their fix on in Fayetteville starting Monday.

Starting Monday, advance voting begins at the Fayette County Elections office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Friday. The elections office is located on the second floor of the Fayette County government complex at the southwest corner of Ga. highways 54 and 85 in downtown Fayetteville.

From Monday, Nov. 23-Wednesday, Nov. 25, early voting becomes more convenient with the same hours but the option of voting at the Peachtree City Library. The catch is if you don’t vote by Nov. 25, you’re stuck having to vote on election day Tuesday, Dec. 1 at your usual polling place.

The candidates in the mayoral runoff are Cyndi Plunkett and Don Haddix. There is also a runoff for the Post 3 seat between Kim Learnard and Bob Walsh. The final runoff is for the special Post 1 election between Beth Pullias and Eric Imker, the winner of whom will fill the remaining two years on a four-year term.
