The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Frankie Lyle Chapter No. 2074, announce the observance of Veteran's Day by saluting local veterans.

It will be this Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Overton Chapel, Fayetteville First Baptist Church at 2 p.m.

Recipients of the Military Service Awards include John Calvin Graves, Charles L. Trawick, Thomas Shelton Huckaby, Robert Daniel Frazier, Broughton Chappell Mullins Jr., Larry Marvin Newsome, and Jonathan W. Till.

A reception will take place after the ceremony and the public is invited to attend.
