Helen Irene Banks, 82, Fayetteville, formerly of Newnan, died Nov. 4, 2009. She was member of Liberty Baptist Church. Services were at the Liberty Baptist Church, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Randy Wood and the Rev. Buddy Hammett officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Edgar L. Banks Jr., Fayetteville; a son, Wayne and Joyce Banks, Senoia; daughters, Diane Hambrick, Newnan, Kay Banks, Fayetteville, and Nancy and Mike Guy, Newnan; grandchildren, Christie and Don Mappin, and Matt Guy, all of Newnan, John and Cheryl Hambrick Jr., Moscow, Tenn., Terri and Scott Bryan, and Traci and Shane Hammock, all of Senoia, Carrie and Alan Hambrick, Fayetteville, and Heather and Ben Wood, Covington; and 13 great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
