Union City, Georgia is a wonderful city to live, work, educate, and raise our children. To continue this rich tradition with the increasing population by the new planned subdivisions and new businesses in the city.  My goals as your elected city council official are the following:

1. To continue to support our elderly population with expansion of free services as Homemaking services (That were a person can come into your house or apartment and do light housekeeping and transportation).  This service will help a person to maintain self- sufficient as long as possible in their home or apartment and prevent early institution.

2. To obtain funding for youth activities. Such as Public soccer fields, football fields, and tennis courts.  So the children of Union City can enjoy these activities with their families in their city.

3. To recruit additional businesses to our area.  That means jobs for Union City residents and additional revenue for the city.

4. To support our police and fire department by hiring new personnel to meet the demands of the increasing population. 

5. To continue to purchase top quality equipment to meet the demands of the sanitation and police departments.

6. To increase the salaries of our city staff, police, fire, and sanitation departments to keep the level of dedicated and qualified personnel.

As a homeowner and resident for the past several years, I strongly support and will have an open door policy for the citizens to call me with any concerns related to our city.  - Annette C. Davis
