Fayetteville resident Trenton Andreas Siler was arrested Nov. 6 after threatening to shoot a man after he claimed the Weatherly Apartments resident had caused his brother to be arrested.

“Real talk, I’m going to shoot you,” was what the apartment resident told officers the 20-year-old Siler had said, according to Fayetteville Police spokesperson Steve Crawshaw.

The incident unfolded Nov. 6 when officers were summoned to the apartment complex after receiving a call from a resident claiming that he had been threatened, Crawshaw said.

The resident told officers his first contact with Siler, a person unknown to him, had occurred the previous day when he had been approached about the arrest of Siler’s brother.

Siler returned Nov. 6, this time threatening to shoot the complainant for supposedly contributing to his brother’s arrest, said Crawshaw.

Officers were able to identify Siler and subsequently arrested him on charges of making terroristic threats, Crawshaw said.
