Madden to run for House seatTue, 02/21/2006 - 5:08pm

Peachtree City resident Kevin Madden has announced he will run against incumbent State Rep. Dan Lakly for the 72nd District seat this November. Madden will run on the Democratic ticket against Lakly, who is a Republican. Madden is chairman of the Fayette County Democratic Committee and has lived in Peachtree City for the past eight years. He has coached in the city’s baseball, soccer and hockey programs. The owner of Global Airlift Services Corporation, Madden has been in the transportation business for more than 30 years. He and his family are members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. Born in New York City in 1950, Madden most recently lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. before moving to Peachtree City. login to post comments |
