As we approach the City Council elections, I pledge my support for Vanessa Fleisch, Post 4.

I’ve known Vanessa for 10 years and have the utmost confidence in her ability to serve our community.

In order to feel comfortable with who leads our community, I look at the character and integrity of the person. Yes, it matters to me that the candidate I support is in line with my concerns regarding civic matters.

However, what matters most to me is the strength of character and selflessness of each candidate. Vanessa is steadfast, consistent, level-headed, responsible, hard-working, and always striving for the greater good.

I’ve observed her in stressful situations and admired her ability to identify the problem and work towards the solution in a timely manner.

No one is deserving more of the opportunity to serve our beautiful community. Hands down, my vote goes for Vanessa.
