Gary Jack Climer, 60, Atlanta, formerly of Fayetteville, died Oct. 22, 2009. He had served in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his father, J. Porter Climer, and a son, Phillip Wade Morris. He loved cars, football, was a Nascar fan, and loved the Atlanta Braves. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Mark Davenport officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.

Survivors include daughters, Tara and Randall Bracknell, Valley, Ala., and Tabitha Lynn and Chris Hendrix, LaGrange; grandchildren, Felicia Hendrix, Christopher Hendrix, and Sidney Climer; a brother, Bruce and Olympia Bynum, Cumming; sisters, Mary Jane Westbrooks, Forest Park, and Mona Jean and Steve Jennings, Fayetteville; and mother, Reba Clark, Cumming. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
