Dru Virginia Bogert, 84, Fayetteville, died Oct. 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel James Bogert, and a daughter, Darci Boyd. She tried to live her life with a smile on her face, even under difficult circumstances. Memorial services were the Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Survivors include a sister, Fern Lynfoot, Columbus, Ohio; son, James Bogert, Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
