Murlene Hunton Butt, Fayetteville, died Oct. 22, 2009. She was a business woman for 40 years and participated in the Fayette Senior Services Meals on Wheels. She was interested in sewing, cooking, photography, and helping the elderly. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Riverview Memorial Park, Smyrna. Survivors include her sons, Michael Butt and Stanley Butt; daughters, Pamela Reynolds, and Kim McCauley; a daughter-in-law, Jodi Rae Butt; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and best friend, Glenda Nelson. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
