“GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays,” a free seminar with video for people facing the holidays after a loved one’s death, will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 - 11:30 a.m. at Heritage Christian Church, 2130 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville. Child care will be provided through fifth grade (must RSVP). A light breakfast will be served.

Topics to be discussed include “Why the Holidays Are Tough,” “What to Expect,” “How to Prepare,” “How to Manage Relationships and Holiday Socials” and “Using the Holidays to Help You Heal.”

The course includes a free book providing additional insights and ideas on holiday survival.
