Providence UMC will host a free evening of music, dessert and childcare with pianist Stanton Lanier on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. The concert features music from Lanier’s CD, “December Peace,” and includes captivating visuals and inspiring stories.

The evening is free but reservations are required so adequate food, seating and childcare can be provided. For reservations, email Leslie at llunsford@provumc.com or call 770-719-8800, ext 2211.

In 2004 Stanton founded Music to Light the World, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a vision to “bring peace to the soul” through donating performances and CDs to cancer patients, hospitals, inner city ministries and schools.
