As part of its threefold mission to Prepare, Share, and Care, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City is caring for south metro area’s needy babies. The congregation recently collected over $600 in baby products and monetary donations for the Baby Peaches, Inc. Cradle of Love program. The church also hosted the Baby Peaches annual meeting this month. The Baby Peaches program formed in 2002 as an avenue for churches and other organizations to make a positive contribution to the welfare of babies in Fayette, Coweta, Clayton, and Fulton counties. Items needed for infant care, baby safety, and baby education are collected and placed in a new baby bag for needy mothers and caretakers.
