Halloween isn’t just about ghosts and goblins! The Frederick Brown Amphitheater will host the “Not so Frightful” Storytelling and Halloween party on October 24 and even Pete the Cat promises to show up and provide fun for children of all ages! The party is scheduled to begin at 4 pm and is a free event.

Well known author and song-writer Eric Litwin and illustrator James Dean will headline the “Not so Frightful” Storytelling and Halloween party on October 24th. They are widely recognized for their work in creating Pete the Cat children’s books. This will be a unique performance for both artists as Eric will recite the stories and perform the songs while James Dean simultaneously creates the characters with his illustrations.

Local storytellers Jackie Uttley and Ann Wallace will also be spinning tales and additional entertainment on the schedule for the day will include Peachtree School of Dance and local recording artist Lindee Link.

Kids and families are invited to participate in the days festivities in several ways. There will be a costume contest at 6 pm, with prizes awarded to winning costumes in two categories.
