Annie Pankey, 87, Fayetteville, died Oct. 5, 2009. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include her husband, Edwin W. Pankey Jr.; and a sister, Cecil Colson, Eutaw, Ala. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
