James Albert Sewell Jr., Tyrone, died Oct. 8, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rogers Sewell. Graveside services were at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Ala. Survivors include a son, James A. and Stephanie Sewell III, Palmetto; a daughter, Joyce Parrott, Tyrone; a sister, Rita and Kenneth Martin, Cataula; grandchildren, Amy and Jason Morgan, Brandy Sewell, James "Jamie" A. and Danielle Sewell IV, and Christopher and Melanie Sewell; a great-grandchild, Cora Campanelli; and adopted daughter, Jan Barr, Peachtree City. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Rd., Union City, GA 30291. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
