Jill Hamrick of Acworth announces the engagement of her daughter, Leia Michelle Hamrick, to Neal Robert Anthony, son of Jim Anthony of Newnan and Cheryl Anthony of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be also is the daughter of the late Mark Hamrick. She is a 2005 graduate of Kennesaw Mountain High School and will graduate in 2010 from the University of West Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Fayette County High School and will graduate in 2010 from Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in business accounting.

The wedding will be Oct. 10, 2010, at The Hazelhurst House in McDonough.
