Mr. and Mrs. Joe Edens of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Rebecca, to Mario Norberto Lazo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mario Antonio Lazo of Stockbridge.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eliane Edens of Athens and the late Dr. Joseph Dickert Edens, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Yarbrough of Fayetteville. She is a 1999 graduate of Fayette County High School and is a third year Pharm. D. candidate at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Demecio Lazo and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rafael Ponce. He received a degree in business administration from the University of Aguascalientes. He currently is employed with BIP, Inc., a family owned Latin distribution company.

The wedding will be April 29, 2006, in Clayton.
