Low prices for residential and commercial natural gas customers will be featured at the Oct. 10 annual members meeting of Coweta-Fayette EMC. “Natural gas prices are a bright spot for customers this year,” said Dan Hart, President and CEO of Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas. “Supply is abundant and our customers are reaping the benefits. This is very good news not just for our residential customers, but our commercial customers whose profits are directly affected by the cost of doing business.” Natural gas inventory has hit an all-time high and is expected to remain at record levels through November 1, according to the American Gas Association. The weakened global economy and a mild, non-existent hurricane season are contributing to the low prices. “CFEMC Natural Gas has developed a strong track record for delivering competitive rates and exceptional customer service,” said Hart. “This year the rates we are able to provide are making our customers happier than usual, and it’s nice to give them some good news.” Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas is a natural gas marketer registered with the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) that offers customers easy to understand bills, simple pricing structures, and local customer service, said Account Director Matt O’Connor. Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas customers can choose monthly variable-rate pricing without a contract or fixed pricing that allows them to lock in their natural gas price for the winter heating season, he said. The Coweta-Fayette EMC Annual Meeting allows each member to vote on how the EMC is run, as a business, and is held at the EMC’s headquarters in Palmetto. This year the family-friendly meeting is from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 10. login to post comments |
