The Heritage of Peachtree Travel Club takes many interesting trips to various locations around Georgia, usually taking one big trip a month. In August, they enjoyed a trip to the Little White House at Warm Springs followed by lunch at the Bullock House. Most recently, the Club spent the day at the Georgia Aquarium, and watched the Beluga Whales. The group then ate at the famous Varsity, an Atlanta landmark. The Varsity is the largest drive-in restaurant in the world. The Club has fifteen members who pile on the Heritage bus and take off for a destination, usually within a 50-mile radius of Peachtree City. Upcoming trips include a Fall Foliage trip in November and a Holiday Light trip in December. Heritage of Peachtree is an independent & assisted living community located on Hwy. 54 W, just at the edge of Peachtree City. login to post comments |
