Bethany United Methodist Church will host a revival Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10 and 11, featuring a special guest, the Rev. Dr. Don Harp, Fayette County native and retired minister of Atlanta’s Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.

Services are planned for Saturday, Oct. 10, at 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Joe and Kim Stanley will provide music at the 5 p.m. service on Saturday and light refreshments will follow the service.

Bethany’s Revival Choir will provide music at the 11 a.m. service on Sunday with a pot luck dinner scheduled following the service.

Sunday evening’s 5 p.m. service will feature sing alongs and specials with light refreshments following.

Harp grew up in Fayette County, was graduated from Fayette County High School, played baseball there and is a member of Fayette County High School’s Sports Hall of Fame.
