Parents and community members who want to learn about the Fayette County Public School System have to look no further than www.fcboe.org.

The school system’s comprehensive website contains a wealth of information from registration procedures, instructional and educational programs, and school year calendars to directory listings for departments and schools as well as the latest news on events, happenings and issues affecting Fayette County Public Schools.

Site visitors can choose to sign up for several RSS feeds that will automatically alert them each time a new item is posted to the site. Available feeds include:
·News: featuring press releases highlighting events, awards and important information about the school system and individual schools, students and staff members.

·Podcasts: recordings of regular and called meetings of the Fayette County Board of Education.

·Videocasts: broadcasts of videos currently airing on the Fayette County Educational Channel, Comcast 24.

The Eboard link, located on the right-hand side of the school system’s home page, provides another dimension of information related to the operational side of the system. Visitors can preview agendas for board meetings, read minutes from previous meetings, get contact information for board members and research polices. There are also additional links for Georgia education laws, the Georgia Department of Education and a host of other state, regional and national educational organizations.
