A community meeting on transportation issues, particularly several in north Fayette County, will be held Monday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church.

The meeting will feature Dana L. Lemon, a member of the state transportation board; it is being hosted by Rep. Roberta Abdul-Salaam.

Abdul-Salaam notes she has heard concerns from the community about the proposed widening of Ga. highways 314 and 279 in addition to the safety at school bus stops along those roadways.
