Kelli Hortman and Billy Nielsen were married at Little Gardens in Lawrenceville on May 23, 2009. The Rev. Charles DeTurk conducted the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Judy Hortman of Fayetteville and Chris and Michele Hortman of Stockbridge. The groom is the son of Bill and Donna Nielsen of Lawrenceville.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory beaded lace trumpet gown with a pleated empire bust featuring a ruched charmeuse empire band with twist knot and featured a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of white phalaenopsis orchids.

Jessica Callahan of Fayetteville served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Kirby of Brooks, Ashlee Kidd of Senoia, Jennifer Nielsen of Lawrenceville, Jennifer Clayton of Atlanta, and Jennifer Duncan of Atlanta.

Kellen Bailey of Lawrenceville served as best man. Groomsmen were Jack Gayle of Loganville, Dave Rogers of Lilburn, Matt Stevens of Athens, David Fleischman of Lawrenceville, and Mike Alexander of Auburn.

A reception followed the ceremony in the ballroom of Little Gardens.

Following a honeymoon to the Carribean and Mexico, the couple now resides in Atlanta.
