Brandi Kaye Nelson and Michael David Dailey were married at Nash Farm Battlefield in Hampton on Aug. 22, 2009.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nelson of Peachtree City. She is the granddaughter of Ruth Upshaw and the late Luther Upshaw of Pickens, Miss., and Harry C. Nelson and the late Doris Nelson of Huntsville, Ala. She is a graduate of McIntosh High School and The State University of West Georgia where she earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. She is employed as the youth athletic coordinator for Henry County Parks and Recreation.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dailey of McDonough. He is the grandson of Moline McEarchern and the late Floyd McEarchern of McDonough and the late J.D. and Martha Dailey of McDonough. He is a graduate of Henry County High School and attended Middle Georgia Technical College. He is employed as a detective for the Henry County Police Department.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a flowing strapless white dress and carried a bouquet of fresh cut gerber daisies.

Suzanna Lee Malone of Tallahassee, Fla., served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathy LeBoeuf Klopp of Louisville, Ky; Kelly Prince Parker of Peachtree City; Meghan Burns Simmons of Tampa, Fla.; and Brianne Moss of McDonough. The junior bridesmaid was the niece of the bride, Ryan Nelson, of Fayetteville. Her sister, Tyler Nelson, served as the flower girl.

Matt Dailey of Villa Rica, the groom’s brother, served as best man, along with his son, Connor, serving as best “little man.” Groomsmen were Joe Pitts of McDonough, Matt Perry of McDonough, and Matt Macaw of Juliette. Junior groomsman was the nephew of the bride, Clayton Nelson, of Fayetteville. Ring bearer was nephew of the bride, Kanon Nelson, of Buford.

Following the outdoor ceremony, a barbecue dinner and dance reception was held in the Activity Barn at Nash Farm Battlefield.
Mr. and Mrs. Dailey took a wedding trip to Las Vegas and reside in McDonough.
