Cornelious Antwone Braswell, Newnan, died Sept. 7, 2009. He was born June 19, 1986. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Braswell. He was baptized into the membership of the Greater Mt. Zion AME Church. He attended Elm Street Elementary School and Newnan High Schools. He enjoyed playing on the basketball team, and also played football.

Services were at the Greater Mt. Zion AME Church with the Rev. David Trott officiating. Interment was at Sunset Cemetery. Survivors include Miss Robin Stegall; a son, Treveyon Antwone Braswell; a daughter, Mariah Lyanna Braswell; mother, Johnnie M. Braswell; stepfather, Larry Hendricks, Pasadena, Calif.; brothers, Shelby Houston and Carlos Hendrick; grandfather, Johnny F. Houston Sr.; step-grandmother, Minnie Kate Houston; three uncles; and six aunts. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
