Belinda Gail Strickland Turner, 53, Fayetteville, formerly of Newnan, died Sept. 12, 2009 after a battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Hardwick D. Strickland. Memorial services are today, Wednesday, Sept. 16th. at 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Wood and the Rev. Gilbert Fields officiating.

Survivors include her mother, Ethel L. Strickland, Fayetteville brothers, Walter and Janet Kitchens, Gainesville, Ga., and Jeff and Laurie Strickland, Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters, Tina and Tony Plunkett, Jonesboro, and Rebecca McKown, Fayetteville; 10 nieces and nephews; and special niece, Katie McKown. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Rd., Union City, Ga 30291. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
