Charles Lee Woodall, 82, Fayetteville, died Sept. 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Woodall. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had fought in the Korean War. He attended Woodrow Wilson Law School and after receiving his degree was employed with The Life Insurance Company of Georgia. He retired with 44 years of service. He was a member of the Griffin Masonic Lodge, the Hapeville Lions Club, and a member of Southwest Christian Church. He volunteered his time with the MAR drug rehabilitation program. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Westwood Gardens, Griffin.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Woodall, Fayetteville; a son, Lynn and Charlene, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Chris and Tracy Woodall, Newnan, Lindsey and Scott Kahle, Key West, Fla., and Stephanie Woodall, Senoia; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Franklin and Patsy Woodall, Tucker; and a sister, Carolyn and Herman Pierson, Stockbridge. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
