Gloria Haralson Giles, 83, Fayetteville, formerly of East Point, died Sept. 19 2009. She was born on Jan. 19, 1926. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bowen Lee and Cora McClain Haralson, and her husband, D. Edward Giles, who died in Dec. 1989.
Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy Lawrence, and the Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.

Survivors include children, Michael E. and Vickie Giles, Warm Springs, and Bonnie Giles and Steve Carlson, Charlotte, N. C.; grandchildren, Christie Colson, Shannon Turner, Sam Giles, Philip Carlson, and Daniel Carlson; and great-grandchildren, Madison Bailey, Morgan Bailey, Liana Colson, Silas Colson, and Chloe Giles. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Advantage, 101 Yorktown Dr., Fayetteville, GA 30214. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
