James Franklin Gardner of Tyrone will be ordained as a deacon Sunday, Oct. 17, at 5 p.m. at The Cathedral of Christ the King in Sharpsburg. Gardner presently serves as a licensed liturgical minister, teacher, member of the Sacristy ministry, lector and acolyte at Christ the King. He will be ordained by the most Rev. W. David Epps, bishop of the Mid-South Diocese and will be assigned to serve at The Cathedral of Christ the King. Photo/Special.
