The Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce is hosting a follow-up Coweta Core Industries Summit for several of Coweta’s core industries. The roundtable discussions include small business, big box retail and financial service and will be held on Wednesday, September 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Central Educational Center.

The roundtables will be facilitated discussions about the challenges, opportunities and the specific issues faced within each sector. There is no charge for this event, but reservations are required.

This roundtable is a follow-up to Coweta Core Industries Summit of industry-specific roundtables the Chamber hosted earlier this year. The first roundtable focused on the financial service, real estate, big box retail, small business, hospitality, healthcare, and manufacturing industries.

“We developed this series of roundtables to help determine the specific needs and desires of Coweta’s major industry groups. In addition to exploring specific services that the Chamber might provide to each, we also hope to uncover some broader issues across the board that we might address together to improve the business environment for everyone,” said Tonya Whitlock of West Georgia Technical College.

The roundtable is open to Chamber members and non members and is free of charge.
