Looking for a scary good time, or maybe some thrills and chills to get in the Halloween spirit?

Then the place to go is the Leach Fire Station in Peachtree City, where the fire department will host its annual Haunted House fund-raiser from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 28-29.

Many ghoulish and sinister characters will be on hand to spice up the night as participants go through the house’s elaborate maze led by the “Grim Reaper.”

Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students. Due to the graphic nature of some scenes, parental discretion is advised.

Younger folks 10 and under can participate in the more demure Kiddie Haunt and moonwalk, which includes credits for a variety of games and activities. Admission for the Kiddie Haunt is $3.

All proceeds will be used to purchase emergency and rescue equipment and uniforms. Funds are also used to enhance the professional training of the department’s paid and volunteer personnel.

The department will be assisted in the fundraiser by Explorer Post 209.

The station is located off Ga. Highway 74 south, one block south of the intersection of Hwy. 74 and Ga. Highway 54.
