People who budgetSaw where Governor Purdue (not the chicken guy) said sales taxes were down again in August, I think he said 20%, and that more state cuts MAY have to be made the first of the next year of budgets! Peachtree City just hired six more employees which will add to our budget cost for 5-6 years of about a million bucks over what the federal government supplies for them(from our taxes). We are nearing 100 bank shut-downs, or failures, whichever term you prefer, and there are about 3-400 more at least who will have the same fate over the next 1-2 years. They are carrying false assets that they haven't written off yet---non-performing loans, like some of the homes behind in payments and empty commercial property. My question is this: There is not even one investigative newspaper, magazine, or elected official here or any place warning us of the coming situation! Unemployment is now at 10% (really 15% at least from norm) and simply will continue to go up at about a quarter to one-half million per reporting period! It will take untold years to find all those people a decent job. And all we can do is complain about socialism, birth certificates, high taxes, laid off workers, Acorns, crooks among poor people (not among banks, etc.), religion, abortions of other people, and stupid marches.
