Jack and Shirlyn Englisby of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Englisby, to Lt. Andrew Roy, son of Jim and Barbara Roy of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Shirley Taylor of Lawrenceville. She is a University of Georgia graduate currently employed by Jordan, Jones & Goulding, Inc. with plans of pursuing her MBA.

The groom-elect is the grandson of John Roy of Peachtree City. He received his undergraduate degree from the United States Naval Academy and his master’s from the Naval Postgraduate School. He is currently serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.

The wedding will be Feb. 13, 2010, at Vines Mansion in Loganville. Following a honeymoon in Key West, Fla., the couple will reside in Norfolk, Va.
