Jim and Ashley Sams of Fayetteville announce the birth of their son, William Ferrol, born at 11:39 p.m. on May 30, 2009, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Will weighed 7 lbs., 4 oz. and was 19 1/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are John and Cherry Byrd and paternal grandparents are Jim and Marie Sams, all of Fayetteville. Will was welcomed home by his brother, John.
