Paschall fire causes some damage, no injuries

A Sunday afternoon fire at the Norman W. Paschall in Peachtree City resulted in no injuries to workers on duty or firefighters responding to the blaze.

Peachtree City Fire Marshal John Dailey said the fire started and was contained in an area of the building where machine processing occurs.

Daily said the 3:30 p.m. fire was moderate to heavy when firefighters arrived, adding that the blaze was extinguisher in approximately one hour.

Dailey said the fire is under investigation.

Paschall handles various types of textile mill by-products and fiber related waste.
