Thursday night soccer scores

Starr's Mill's varsity girls soccer team picked up their first win of the season on Thursday by defeating Chapel Hill 3-1. Goals were scored by Gina Goforth, Emily Stevens and Tannah Castro. Goforth and Steven also had an assist a piece in the game, as did Carly Banks. Goalkeeper Allie Matulia made seven saves.

The Starr's Mill boys game against Harrison, scheduled for tonight, was postponed. A make-up date has not been announced.

McIntosh's boys soccer team handed Creekside a 15-0 loss on Thursday evening. They will play at Brookwood next Thursday following the girls game.

Fayette County's boys also picked up a 15-0 win on Thursday by defeating Southside in the Lovejoy tournament.

Sandy Creek's boys lost to Lithia Springs 4-3 on Thursday.
