Line Creek to host the Singing Echoes

Line Creek Baptist Church in Coweta County will host the Singing Echoes, which includes members of the Epperson family from Cleveland, Tenn., Friday, Sept. 11, at 7:30 p.m. The group has recorded more than 30 songs and has appeared on the Gospel Singing Jubilee TV program. Mass scheduled for 9/11 observance

A special Mass in observance of 9/11 will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Newnan at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. An invitation is extended to the community to join in this commemorative event. The Mass will be celebrated by Father Daniel J. Fleming, pastor of St. Mary Magdalene.
