Covenant to offer Beth Moore study
Covenant Presbyterian Church will offer a Beth Moore Bible study each Wednesday beginning Sept. 9 at 9:30 a.m. A free preschool/nursery wll be available. Covenant is at 819 Ga. Hwy. 314, Fayetteville, one mile north of The Pavilion. For more information, call 770-460-9451.

Foster parent orientation planned at CC

Bible study at Providence resumes
Community Bible Study, an interdenominational Bible study program, will resume classes beginning Friday, Sept. 11. All classes will meet from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Providence United Methodist Church, 592 Bernhard Road in Fayetteville. This year’s study will be the book of Acts. Line Creek to host the Singing Echoes
Line Creek Baptist Church in Coweta County will host the Singing Echoes, which includes members of the Epperson family from Cleveland, Tenn., Friday, Sept. 11, at 7:30 p.m. The group has recorded more than 30 songs and has appeared on the Gospel Singing Jubilee TV program. Mass scheduled for 9/11 observance
A special Mass in observance of 9/11 will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Newnan at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. An invitation is extended to the community to join in this commemorative event. The Mass will be celebrated by Father Daniel J. Fleming, pastor of St. Mary Magdalene. Summit plans ‘Back to Church Sunday’
The Summit will join thousands of churches this month for “Back to Church Sunday,” a national movement of churches to encourage formerly churched people to rethink church and try it again. The event is planned for Sunday, Sept. 13. The church is at 1373 Ga. COS to offer children’s Spanish
Children in third through fifth grade are invited to learn Spanish culture through language, arts and crafts, food and music at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. Enrollment will be limited to 12 students. Classes meet Mondays from 3:30 - 5 pm, from Sept. 14 - Nov.16 (no class on Oct. 5) for a total of nine sessions. Cost is $45 per child ($5 per session).
