Fayetteville Main Street is once again excited to give local workers an excuse to take an extended lunch break this Friday with the third Lunch on the Lawn event this year. From 11:30am – 1:30pm, residents and local employees are encouraged to take their lunch break to the old courthouse lawn in downtown Fayetteville. Chick-fil-A will be selling a lunch package for $5, but people can bring their own lunch as well.

Attendees will be entertained by the bluegrass stylings of The Larious Brothers. Main Street Director, Brian Wismer, is an enthusiastic supporter. “Something about that style of music (bluegrass) really connects with people, and is reminiscent of a simpler time in Fayetteville. I think we’ll see some folks come out of the woodwork for this one.”

This Friday marks the third of four, scheduled Lunch on the Lawn events to be held this year, and is sponsored by the Chick-fil-A Fayetteville Dwarf House. For info on other planned events in downtown Fayetteville, please check the Main Street Calendar at
