Troop 175 Scout, Brian Tyra recently presented 30 "Walking Staves" to  CPT Dupree from the Peachtree City Police Department for use with the PTC Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Supported by scouts from Troop 175,  Brian planned, organized and conducted a car wash to raise money and purchase the BSA walking staves.  He then organized scouts to brand "PTC CERT" and attach a wrist cord on each stave.  Brian and Troop 175 presented the staves to the CERT during a troop meeting at the Scout Lodge on Robinson Road.  Troop 175 is sponsored by Peachtree City United Methodist Church
