This summer welcomed the opening of the first privately-owned artificial turf baseball field complex in Peachtree City. The Home Plate baseball field is located behind the TDK building on Highway 74 N and was managed by Tiernan and Patrylo, Inc. Tiernan and Patrylo, Inc. is a locally owned engineering and construction firm that was opened in 1984 by Jack Tiernan and Dennis Patrylo. Jack Tiernan is now 71 years old and retired but returned to work when his son John, who is the current president of T & P, Inc., asked him to manage the Home Plate project. A fun project to work on and complete, Mr. Tiernan looks forward to seeing many children and adults alike enjoy this state-of-the-art facility.
