Mildred "Ming" Honeycutt Jones, 90, Peachtree City, formerly of Caldwell Parrish, La., died Aug. 13, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Ralph Jones, parents, Ludie and Ollie Honeycutt, a brother, James, and sisters Charlotte Ann, Evelyn, and Juanita. She was a career education major who retired from the Fulton County Board of Education, where she originated and directed the Homebound and Hospitalization Education program. After retirement she moved to Peachtree City in 1996 where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Faith Bible Class. She enjoyed classical music and loved playing the piano. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Steve Bingham officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include a daughter, Vivien Scarbrough, Peachtree City; granddaughter, Anna Scarbrough, Atlanta; a sister, Julie M. Honeycutt, Bastrop, La.; two nephews; and five nieces. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Carl J.
