Vernie Fuller, 86, Union City, died Aug. 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Biddix, and her husband, George J. Fuller Sr. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor John Jenkins officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, George J. Fuller Jr., Fayetteville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and dear friend, Elaine LaFavers. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
