AWANA starts at Woolsey tonight

DivorceCare starts tonight at Heritage
Beginning tonight, Heritage Christian Church will offer Divorce Care as well as Divorce Care 4 Kids from 6:30 – 8 p.m. Divorce care 4 Kids (DC4K) is for children 5-12 years of age. Both sessions continue for 13 weeks. For additional information visit www.heritagechristian.org

Grantville gospel sing set for Aug. 22
Second Coming from Griffin, New Horizons from Thomaston, and The Parrish Family from Barnesville will perform Saturday, Aug. 22, at 7 p.m., at the gospel singing at the freight depot in Grantville. Holly Grove AME plans special week
Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will have Homecoming and Revival Services next week. Homecoming Celebration will be Sunday, Aug. 23, at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Alvetta Peterman Thomas will be the Speaker of the Hour. Revival services will be Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 24-26, at 7 p.m. each night. Holly Grove is at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., Peachtree City, off the southern end of Robinson Road, between Oakdale Avenue and Aston Park. Look for the Historical Marker, the church sign, and the white fence.

Hopewell will host FPU Sunday
Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will offer the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University series beginning Sunday, Aug. 23. All classes will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. FPU is a 13-week program that teaches how to make the right money decisions to achieve financial goals. The fee for all the classes and materials is $93 per person. Register for the classes at the church or go online to DaveRamsey.com. Edgefield plans revival next week
Edgefield Baptist Church in Fayetteville will hold its Summer Revival Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 24-25, at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest revivalist for both nights will be Pastor Wendy Smith of Greater Victory Christian Center in East Point. Edgefield is at 140 Church St. The senior pastor is Pastor Eddie Thomas. OM’s 31 days of prayer continues

FCC women plan ‘memory lane’ event
The women’s ministry at Fayetteville Christian Church will host a night of fun, food and laughter as participants take a “Walk Down Memory Lane” during a wedding-themed girlfriend extravaganza on Monday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. Reservations should be made by Aug. 16. GriefShare starts Sept. 3 in PTC
Beginning Sept. 3, Peachtree City United Methodist Church will offer GriefShare each Thursday night from 6:30 - 8 p.m. GriefShare is a support group for those who have lost a loved one. Jones to speak at PC Fellowship
The Emerging Daniel Company International, a Fayette County ministry of Aaron Evans, will sponsor a special session at Peachtree Christian Fellowship in September.
