The first draft of recommendations for Fayette County’s transportation plan will be unveiled Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at City Hall in Peachtree City at 151 Willowbend Road.

The transportation planning process, dubbed Fayette Forward, has already hosted several meetings in the community along with a special drop-in planning seminar. The goal of these events was to solicit public input on future transportation projects.

In addition to developing a plan that meets traffic flow needs, transportation planners have also heard a desire from residents to use roads to preserve Fayette’s rural character.
