A Peachtree City man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly throwing a woman on a bed at his residence and then refusing to let her leave.

Thomas D. Sewell, 49, of Camden Apartments was charged with simple battery (family violence) and false imprisonment (family violence).

During the incident the victim asked her juvenile daughter to call 911 to summon officers to the scene, police said.
