Virginia Margaret Anderson Bach, Newnan, died Aug. 2, 2009. She was born in 1919 in Kansas City, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur R. and Margaret Roberts Anderson, and her husband, Roland W. Bach. She grew up in Santa Monica, Calif., graduating there from high school in 1937. In her lifetime she was a school librarian and dedicated many volunteer hours to church and youth organizations. She was awarded life membership in the United Methodist Women's Society of Christian Service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, sewing, photography, and foreign travel. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Cremation was followed by interment beside her husband in Santa Monica, Calif. Survivors include a son, Steven A. Bach, Newnan; a daughter, Marjorie A. Mota, Lakewood, Calif.; and a grandson, Daniel R. Mota, Harbor City, Calif. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
