HR3200 imposes ‘foreign’ ideologyTue, 08/11/2009 - 2:51pm

Thank you for studying HR3200 and reporting on its intentions. It is a frightening and polarizing attempt to impose an ideology traditionally foreign to this country. However, it seems that there is a segment of society that thinks that the democratic process must be a zero sum game, and they are claiming victory. This is evidenced by an online comment that I quote here: “The majority rules in the USA, and winning elections means something! You lost for some good reason! We must not let competitive capitalism extend into every facet of human life.” Elections DO have consequences and it is amateurish to think that none of them might be negative.
