The SPLOST

I have concluded that all of the governments of Fayette County have come to rely upon SPLOSTs being renewed!

It is an automatic procedure that they rely upon when making up a budget or figuring taxes.

Now these same people want the temporary Corporate tax that is expiring to not be renewed!!! No taxes on corporations in other words but tax on citizens as a sales tax is perfectly fine!

Isn't this a Little like Br'er Rabbit begging the fox NOT to throw him into the briar patch as a punishment?
